Migrate Your WordPress site

Step 1

Select your plan and create a Eastlink Cloud account. domain with hosting plan.

Step 2

Export Site

1. Login to the Old WordPress Dashboard.
2. Click Tools.
3. ​Click Export.
4. Click Download Export File.
   

Import Site

Note: Before you begin, make sure WordPress is already installed on the domain.

1. Log in to the New WordPress Dashboard at the new domain name.
2. Click on Tools and then select Import.
3. Scroll down the page to the bottom.
4. Click the link that says WordPress.
   
5. Click Browse and open the file that was exported.
6. Click Upload file and import.
   
7. Create or select the author for all posts.
8. Mark the checkbox for import file attachments.
   
9. The WordPress site has now been imported.
